SJA Music Institute is the only Berklee's academic global partner in South Korea since 1998. By completing a one-year diploma program followed by a six-month Berklee Track program, SJA students are allowed to transfer up to max. 59 credits once they are admitted to Berklee. (*The students have to maintain an average B or above.) The program consists of six, 12-week quarters with one-week breaks in between quarters.

Every fall, Berklee faculty members and admission team travel to Korea, and host Audition & Interview, clinics, and concerts at SJA. Hundreds of Berklee candidates have auditioned at SJA over decades.
